Experience & Current Position

The summary should include a little bit about your past experience (we don’t need a novel, just a few hard-hitting points) & a brief description of what you do now.

Show how your previous experience is relevant to your dream job & how you’re bridging gaps in your education or training.

Action Point Or Call To Action

A call to action is a good way to end your LinkedIn summary. Don’t be afraid to be DIRECT with your prospects. Additionally, let them know how to reach you.

Adding an action point to your LinkedIn profile summary can be REALLY rewarding. Add a line at the bottom of your summary to encourage people to get in touch.

Keep It Short & Sweet

You’re unlikely to get someone to read three block paragraphs about you. The best LinkedIn summaries are short & sweet, but still packed with info. 

Make sure each paragraph is no more than a few sentences long. You can use bullet points if you want to.
