You can deliver a message to your connections directly from the LinkedIn messaging page, your connections page, or a LinkedIn member’s profile page.

You can access your messages by clicking the “Messaging” icon at the top of the LinkedIn homepage.

A number on the icon will alert you of unread messages since your last visit.

You can also access your messages using conversation windows on the bottom right of every page.

Reaching 1st Degree Connections

You can message any of your 1st connections for free, which applies to both conversations and group conversations.

Once you start a group chat, you can always add more people to whom you are directly connected.

Can You Send A Message To More Than One Connection?

Yes, you can start a conversation between two or more of your 1st connections. After creating a new message, you can add multiple recipient names.

How To Send A Meeting Link

Whether it’s an existing conversation or starting a new one, click on the video icon next to where you’d type a message.

You’ll see a pop-up where you can choose from Teams, Zoom, or BlueJeans and a prompt to sign in.

You can share a unique link to start an instant meeting or schedule the meeting for later.

Your company can advertise open jobs on LinkedIn by creating online job posts. Read up on LinkedIn’s best practices before posting jobs. 

Posting a job will notify your coworkers and 1st-degree connections so they can share it with their networks.

The screen will say:
