On the right-hand side of your LinkedIn homepage, located about halfway down, you can see a box that reads: Who’s Viewed My Profile. This is where you can get some valuable information regarding the people who have spent time looking at your LinkedIn profile.
The feature gives users access to two statistics: how many times their profile has been viewed in the last seven days, and how many times they appeared in search results in the last week.
Going to the Who’s Viewed My Profile page will show you some vague statistics and information related to your profile’s visitors. You may see something like: “Someone at XYZ company” or “Vice President at XYZ”. You may also see the visitor’s name and company, depending on their LinkedIn visibility settings.
If you want even more detailed information, you will have to upgrade your LinkedIn account to premium.
The Who’s Viewed Your Profile feature is very important because it gives you valuable insight that you can use in your lead generation efforts. Marketers and entrepreneurs, for example, can use it to gauge their reach on LinkedIn.
Eve Mayer Orsburn, CEO of Social Media Delivered, a social media consultancy said: “Perhaps you’ve reached out to someone at a particular company to pursue a lead or applied for a job through LinkedIn. You can use [this function] to see if someone from that company is checking out your profile and you can follow up accordingly”.
If you can see who has viewed your profile and how many times your profile was viewed within a certain period of time, you can challenge yourself to get higher numbers next week and be exposed to more people.
Using the Who’s Viewed Your Profile Feature
Click the ‘Me’ icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage and then click view profile to access the Who’s Viewed Your Profile page. Remember that the option may not be visible if you haven’t had any profile views in the last 90 days. This is the length of time LinkedIn displays your profile visitors.
Viewing timeframes may also vary over time and as people view your profile.
Benefits of LinkedIn Premium for Viewing your Profile Visitors
Free LinkedIn accounts can view insights such as where your profile viewers work, and where they found you from. But a premium account will have access to even more helpful insights. Those with a paid LinkedIn account can see the entire list of viewers from the past 90 days, and not just the ones who visited in the last 7 days.
In addition to all the free features, premium profiles also enjoy access to weekly viewer insights. This is perfect for anyone who wants to expand their LinkedIn network. You can use the graph of weekly viewer trends to see data points for a particular week.
Je samozřejmé, že zobrazení profilu se zobrazí pouze tehdy, pokud na vaši stránku přijdou návštěvníci.
Anonymní prohlížení profilů
It is possible to view profiles anonymously if you don’t want other people to see that you’ve viewed their profile. The default is that when you visit someone, they will see your name listed in the Who’s Viewed Your Profile page. But LinkedIn lets you browse profiles anonymously, which is useful if you just want to do research on your competition or you want to see how others are writing their own profiles.
The downside is that you will also become unable to see who has viewed your profile. Only use the anonymous browsing option if necessary.
Nastavení možností prohlížení profilu na anonymní:
Click the ‘Me’ icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
