Those with a premium membership are allotted a specific number of InMail credits based on their subscription type. The number of InMail credits is located in the user’s Premium subscription page. InMail credits can be purchased from the LinkedIn website. However, these InMail credits are only available for use from the personal account and not in Recruiter Lite.
InMail messages can have up to 200 characters in the required subject line and up to 1900 characters in the body. LinkedIn members cannot purchase additional InMail credits outside of the monthly allotment for Sales Navigator. InMail credits are allotted every month on the first day of the member’s billing cycle. InMail credits can be accumulated from month to month, but will expire after 90 days. InMail has the added benefit of being 30 percent more effective than regular emails. People are more likely to read them because they are designed to be less ‘spammy’.
If the person does not reply within 7 days, the sender receives that InMail credit back, so it is essentially a refund.
How Many LinkedIn
Invites Can You Send ?
LinkedIn accounts are allotted 300 invites to send out. There is no known limit to how many can be sent out per day, but it is still not advisable to send out too many. Users are required to enter a Captcha for each invite over 100 sent in a 24-hour period.
To avoid becoming a nuisance, only send invitations when there is a fair chance that it will be accepted. Never send the default invitation since it tends to turn off some people. LinkedIn members should also avoid sending invites to everyone in their email contacts list.
It is possible to withdraw an invitation once it has been sent. Simply go to ‘Inbox’, select ‘Sent’, and then go to the ‘Sent Invitations’ tab to see all the sent invitations.
