What Does it Cost to Run HubSpot for My Company?
The good news is that you can run HubSpot for your company and still enjoy a lot of its benefits without ever paying for anything. HubSpot has a free plan that includes a lot of different functionalities that you can already use for your inbound marketing.
But if there are certain features you want to use that are not available in the free package, you will have to upgrade to a different plan.
This means you need to understand your business’s goals and needs in order to choose the right HubSpot package. If you know all of your objectives, it’s much easier to pick the appropriate package. We recommend starting out with the free HubSpot plan if it’s your first time using a CRM. Over time, you will be able to identify what features you need.
However, there are a lot of options to choose from. HubSpot has three main software Hubs: Marketing, Sales, and Service. While they are all in the same platform, they are purchased separately. Aside from HubSpot’s free package, there are also paid tiers: Starter, Professional, and Enterprise. Each of the software hubs are available in those tiers. Not to mention there are add-ons and bundles. This means your HubSpot experience can be customized in any way you want to suit your organization’s particular needs.
HubSpot’s Marketing Hub is for launching effective marketing campaigns while the Sales Hub is for tracking lead interactions. The Service Hub is designed to help your team provide efficient customer service.
Each hub is available in those distinct tiers, and as you move up the tiers, you get more and more tools. The higher tiers have fewer limits on the tools you have.
You can buy any combination hubs and tiers. Depending on your tech stack, you may or may not need all of these hubs. But HubSpot offers a discount if you purchase the Growth Suite, which includes all three hubs at a single tier. So if you think you need more than one hub, we recommend just going for the Growth Suite because it’s much more affordable—and you gain access to the entirety of HubSpot’s tools and offerings. Again, this depends on your specific needs.
What you need to know about the paid tiers is that they increase functionality and contact thresholds, not user limits. This means that while the free package offers unlimited contacts, paid versions will require a fee for additional contacts.
Once you start a paid version of the Marketing Hub, for example, you will have to pay:
Starter: 1,000 marketing contacts included with subscription; $45/month per 1,000 additional marketing contacts.
Professional: 2,000 marketing contacts included with subscription; $224.72/month per 5,000 additional contacts.

But the advantage of the paid tiers is that you can get a ton of extra functions for your CRM, which will ultimately benefit your business. So if you’re not running a big company and you just need the unlimited free contacts, you should stick with the free HubSpot package.
HubSpot Free Package
HubSpot’s free package, as the name suggests, is free. But just because it’s free doesn’t mean it’s not valuable. In fact, a lot of marketers have seen significant growth using only the basic HubSpot package. If you are running a startup or a small business, this is a good starting CRM package for you.
Even with the free HubSpot package, you can store an unlimited number of contacts, companies, tickets, and deals.

HubSpot’s Starter Marketing, Sales, and Service Hubs are all available at $50 per month. HubSpot offers a slight discount if you pay annually: it will only cost $540 for the Starter package.

HubSpot Professional Package
Moving up a tier, you get HubSpot’s Professional package, which is perfect for those that are running a larger organization. One of the most important benefits of the Professional tier is the ability to automate email marketing tools.
